  • Be currently employed by Her Majesty’s Government (including British embassies and high commissions, the Department for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy, the Department for International Trade, the Ministry of Defense, and the Home Office), was employed by Her Majesty’s Government in the past two years since the opening of Chevening applications, or are on the staff of the Association of Commonwealth Universities.
  • Any current or former staff member or immediate family member of a worker of a Chevening Partner organization can apply. However, the employment occurred within the past two years. In that case, individuals will not be eligible to receive a Chevening Partner Award from the organization for which individuals work or initially worked.
  • The applicant has used a scholarship provided by the United Kingdom government to attend a university in the United Kingdom.
