Liverpool claimed the Emirates FA Cup title beating Chelsea 5-6 on penalties at Wembley Stadium, KTNBlog reporting.
It wasn’t an easy game for both teams who gave it all their best going forward but couldn’t make anything count under 90 minutes.
The Reds were able to make it happen via penalties which they had Alisson Becker to thank as he was able to stop Mason Mount from scoring.

FULL CHELSEA VS LIVERPOOL MATCH REPORT
It was a bright start to the Emirates FA Cup clash which saw the Reds dominating the early stages creating opportunities.
Chelsea had Edouard Mendy to thank as the Senegalese pulled off some incredible saves which kept the Blues in the encounter as it carried on.
Liverpool soon had to face some pressure from the home side of the encounter which saw Christian Pulisic coming close but his finishing wasn’t good enough for a goal.
Marcos Alonso was also gifted with an opportunity of making it count but he couldn’t control the ball quickly before Alisson Becker covered for a save.
The game continued looking tight as no breathing space for either of them to operate smoothly as they had every area covered on the pitch.
So much was seen but the scoreline remained 0-0 as Chelsea Vs Liverpool ended the first half knowing they couldn’t make anything happen in 45 minutes.
They came in the second half looking hungry and it was Thomas Tuchel’s side that started pressing their opponent looking for the opening goal.
Chelsea couldn’t succeed in two opportunities created in quick succession as it was moving on with their opponent doing so much to keep them away from scoring.
Liverpool was also keen on doing so much from their end hoping they could make something happen and they were the unlucky side who had everything working for them.
Soon the Reds hit the woodwork in what could have hit inside the net after Edouard Mendy was well beaten from the attempt which didn’t go inside.
It ended in the second half with Chelsea keeping their hopes alive playing a 0-0 scoreline against Liverpool after 90 minutes at Wembley Stadium.
The first 15 minutes of the extra time were cagey with nothing happening except a few wasted opportunities like it was all through the normal time.
It was the same in the second half of the extra time which no goal was scored giving both teams another chance to win via penalties.
The penalties were good for both teams with Edouard Mendy making a save while Alisson stopped Mason Mount which saw Liverpool winning 5-6.
