FT: Man City 4-3 Real Madrid (UEFA Champions League) 2021-2022 | FULL HIGHLIGHTS

Man City claimed a 4-3 win against Real Madrid at the Etihad Stadium in an eventful first leg encounter of the UEFA Champions League, KTNBlog reporting.

Both teams had an incredible first-half encounter which saw Manchester City doing most of the scoring and both of them had something good.

The second half was were everything was decided between them as more goals kept going in which had a huge impact on how it ended after 90 minutes.


It was a solid start coming from the home side who kicked off things with their dominating play.

It took Man City just two minutes to score the opening goal which saw Kevin De Bruyne finishing off with his head to make the scoreline 1-0 for his side.

The match continued with Real Madrid still trying to figure out what was going on between them as another goal was scored in the 11th minute by Gabriel Jesus who made it 2-0.

Karim Benzema was called into action once again as he scored in the 33rd minute of the second half which saw his side pulling one back to make it 2-1.

The game continued with so much coming until the first half ended with Man City taking a narrow 2-1 advantage into the break against Real Madrid.

Both teams came out of the second half looking fresh and ready to finish off the game in their favor.

Man City once again started well with Riyad Mahrez going close to making something happen, but his finishing wasn’t good enough.

Phil Foden scored a brilliant goal in the 53rd minute of the game which saw Real Madrid going down further as the scoreline turned 3-1 in favor of the Premier League side.

Vinicius Junior hacked one goal back in the 55th minute ensuring the fight continue 3-2 for the Laliga side who were so much in the game before they got another one in the bag.

Another goal in the 74th minute was scored from the home side through Bernardo Silva who made it 4-2 as the match carried on looking good for the Citizens.

A penalty was awarded to the away side after a poor challenge which Karim Benzema stepped up and made it his brace with a good finish in the 82nd minute with a scoreline 4-3.

It was an eventful 90 minutes plus additional time of football at the Etihad Stadium which ended with Man City 4-3 Real Madrid.
