An outstanding game as Chelsea smashed Southampton 0-6 away from home in the English Premier League, KTNBlog reports.

Timo Werner finally gets his groove back as he scored a brace just like Mason Mount who was unstoppable in the game against the Saints.

It was a good day in the office for Thomas Tuchel who recently came off an embarrassing back-to-back defeat at Stamford Bridge.

SOUTHAMPTON VS CHELSEA FULL MATCH REPORT

The match started with the Blues dominating play going forward in the first half which saw them scoring for fun against their opponent.

Chelsea scored the opening goal in the 8th minute thanks to a good team effort which saw Marcos Alonso finishing off a Mason Mount assist to make it 0-1 for the Blues.

Southampton was very poor in their dealings which immediately cost them another goal in the 16th minute from Mason Mount who made it 0-2 as it carried on.

Another one once again, and this time it was Timo Werner making it 0-3 in the 21st minute after another good display saw the away side scoring to increase their advantage.

It was already looking like a bad day for the Saints who couldn’t understand what was going on the pitch as the goals kept flying in Kai Havertz made it 0-4 in the 31st minute.

Chelsea had to settle with a 0-4 advantage after 45 minutes played against Southampton in the first half of the encounter which was one-sided all through.

The second half was similar as the goals kept going in and the home side had nothing else to do in make sure they closed their defense.

Timo Werner added another one and his brace for Chelsea in the 49th minute of the second half making the scoreline increase to 0-5 as the scoring continued for the visiting side.

Southampton already gave up as they couldn’t understand what was happening or have an answer to the problems they were facing on the pitch.

Mason Mount scored his brace for the game in the 54th minute as things turned 0-6 with more opportunities still created by them despite taking such a lead in the encounter.

The Saints did well enough to close things as nothing got past them with the game hitting the 90th minute with the scoreline remaining the same 0-6.

The match finished with an incredible win for Chelsea who scored a 0-6 result against Southampton who was no good for them after 90 minutes.
